Dear TDs and other opponents of corruption:
It is imperative that opposition TDs and others vocally demand an answer which is a real answer
to TD Finian McGrath's Parliamentary Question  (PQ 122 for Written Wed 14 December 2011) :
TD Finian McGrath asked the Minister for Justice to respond to allegations that

the Minister illegally and unethically EXPELLED THE PLAINTIFF FROM THE STATE,
with intent:
  1.  to COVER UP her formal written COMPLAINT OF CORRUPTION IN THE COURTS and IN THE JUSITCE MINSTRY; and
  2. to disable the Plaintiff from persuing said Corruption Complaint implicating the Justice Ministry, and
  3. to prevent a fair hearing
(Said Complaint ATTACHED herewith, and to the original PQ)

THE MINISTER'S REPLY (of Wed 14 Dec 2011) IS NO ANSWER:
The Minister therein COMPLETELY IGNORES THE CORRUPTION COMPLAINT  implicating the Justice Ministry and judges.
(SEE DETAILS BELOW, AND IN ATTACHMENTS HEREWITH)
This corruption issue has far-reaching ramifications for the integrity of the present government,
whose performance has already been called seriously into question.
Please act on this issue without delay

Mr McGrath:
Most grateful for your kind and prompt action on this matter.

Please note:
a)  in his reply, the Minister again fails, neglects and refuses to respond to the Complaint of corruption in the asylum system  (in which the Justice Ministry is implicated.)

b)  the Minister's  "satisfaction" with the State's asylum system is in direct contradiction to UN 2011 findings in the
Universal Periodic Review; as well as his own  statements when in opposition.

From this it would seem that it is the Minister's policy to cover up corruption in Justice Ministry / the asylum system.

QUESTION NO:  221

DÁIL QUESTION addressed to the Minister for Justice and Equality (Mr. Shatter) by Deputy Finian McGrath for WRITTEN on Wednesday, 14th December, 2011.

   *  To ask the Minister for Justice and Equality his views on a matter (details supplied) regarding the courts..

                                                            - Finian McGrath

REPLY. The Deputy should be aware that it is not the practice to comment on individual asylum applications where a final decision has not been made. As I understand it, the delay in having the case of the person concerned concluded has arisen from the legal challenges taken, in the High Court and in the Supreme Court, by the person concerned against determinations or decisions taken in her case. However, given that a final decision has not yet been taken in this case, it would not be appropriate for me to comment further on the case at this time.
On a more general level, I am entirely satisfied that the State has very comprehensive mechanisms, both legislative and administrative, in place for the determination of asylum applications. Where an individual asylum applicant is not satisfied with a determination or decision taken in relation to their case, they have recourse to the High Court to challenge such a determination or decision through the medium of judicial review. Equally, where an individual is not satisfied with a decision of the High Court in their case, they have, subject to certain criteria being satisfied, recourse to the Supreme Court. As the Deputy will be aware, under our Constitution the Courts are independent in the exercise of their functions.
Against the above background, I am satisfied that any issue raised by the person concerned has been given an appropriate hearing at both administrative and judicial level.

URGENT RE:
The new government's response to corruption Complaint: exile the Plaintiff

Mr McGrath,

I have been most grateful for your kind interest and encouragement in the past, regarding my Complaints of judge corruption.)  (SEE "JUDGE CORRUPTION lflt 2pp": which you have recieved from me before.)

Since the new coalition government has taken office, I have worked assiduously to call its attention to my Complaint of corruption in RAT and in Superior Courts judges.
These issues concern risk to human life in thousands of cases.

In direct response to my corruption Complaints,
I have been served with an order to leave the State.

I entreat you to please send a message of protest forthwith, to Minister Alan Shatter and to the Taoiseach Enda Kenny.

I so deeply appreciate your kind attention to these concerns, and all your important work for social justice.

Many thanks,

Grace L
Asylum / refugee activist
